Reddingskursus, duik en kamp by Wondergat.

Lesings en prakties vir die reddingskursus vind plaas by Wondergat.

Temperature range:
14 - 21 degrees.

Depth:
40m, with ave. 6m visibility above 20m and below 20m visibility is about 15m. It also has a few shallow and short caves to explore but be careful.

Altitude:
+- 1460m above sea level.

Access:
Public. An entry fee is payable.

On site gas mixing station:
Yes. Nitrox continuous blending. Trimix on request & prior arrangement.

Nearest Medical facility:
The nearest hospital is in Mafikeng (30km) away, while Lightenburg Provincial Hospital is nearly 60km away.

Accommodation:
Ablution facilities (hot & cold water) and electricity is available to camp sites. Some tented accommodation can be provided for on request. Camping takes place in a small area fenced off from the stock farm fields.

Canteen:
Canteen facilities are available as well as take-away meals (to be arranged in advance)

Communications Network:
Both the Cellular/Mobile service providers in South Africa's network reaches the dive site.

Directions:
You need to get to Lichtenburg (Via Ventersdorp and Coligny). Drive through town, look for the Mafikeng road signs and follow them.About 45 / 48 km from town you will find a shopping complex on the left. There is a bottle store called Equanule. There will be a sign for Buhrmansdrift. Turn right there. This is still tar road. Follow this for about 8 km.There will be a sign for Molopo Oog (with a sticker and arrow). Turn right. This is a dirt road. Follow this road for about 8 km until you see a white sign for Wondergat.

It's on the right hand side and easy to miss it so be careful. Most people get lost because they follow the sign for Molopo Oog that you get just before the Buhrmansdrift sign on the main Litchenberg / Mafikeng road. Don't take that road - go toBuhrmansdrift first and then take Molopo Oog.
