Hello

I’m looking for good quality shark photos, either good ‘species shots’ or interesting behavior shots. It’s for a shark workshop field guide. Unfortunately there’s no money in it at this stage, but they will be printed with your name in the guide, which will hopefully be a high quality publication (holding thumbs). Maybe one day we’ll all be shark photographer millionaires hey!

All the major South African sharks are to be included. Photos of sharks in baited dives are preferred without the bait / cage / drum / fake seal if possible unless shown for a good reason. The deadline is end of July.

If you would like to contribute please e-mail your photos (within reason) to me directly, or post (especially if lots of large files) to PO BOX 1264, Umhlanga Rocks, 4320

And lastly, we all know the typical shark diving spots but if you have a good spots for sharks that aren’t well known or information that isn’t well known about our local sharks I’d love to include it.
